On entering the warm and friendly environment of our lounge/dining room please note the large bay window from which a magnificent view of the whole bay can be enjoyed.

The seaside town of Stonehaven is known as "The gateway to Royal Deeside".

To the West of Stonehaven can be seen the Glens and Heather covered slopes of the Grampian Mountains, and to the East the North Sea coast with it's fringe of cliffs, beaches and old fishing villages.

Visitors to the district will find much to explore and admire beyond the bustling town of Stonehaven. To the South are the dramatic ruins of Dunnottar Castle throned high on the clifftops. North can be found the galleries, museums, theatre and shopping of the oil rich city of Aberdeen.

To the West are the highland resorts of Banchory, Ballater and Braemar. The Royal residence of Balmoral Castle surrounded by the hills and pine forest of Royal Deeside, with the famous castles of Mar, Crathes, Craigievar and many more most of which are open to the public.
